Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade
Item upgrade, commonly referred to as "upping," improves an item's stats. Each upgrade increment increases the stat linearly.
Players can recycle up to six items at a time in order to gain an indicator of the level of the upgraded components. The cost of recycling items scales according to their rarity and level.
Upgrade components
In Guild Wars 2, an item upgrade is a way to boost the stats of your weapon and armor. This can be achieved by a variety of methods through the use of upgrade components or by increasing the rarity of an item or its mark level. A lot of items can be reforged in order to increase their value.
