World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading
The upgrade of an item allows players to boost the gear rating of an item up 700 points and also add a bonus. Items can be upgraded by keeping them in inventory and heading to the kiln.
Certain items are worth upgrading due to their distinctive stats. (For item upgrading , a perfectly broken point armor that is rolled can be used in melee PvP). Other items such as weapons aren't changed much after an upgrade and therefore aren't worth the effort.
Weapons
Weapons can be upgraded to improve their numeric stats such as damage to attack, crit chance as well as PvE and damage to PvP. They also have a flat bonus that increases their damage per second. Additionally some weapons come with an added bonus that is activated when three or more of the same weapon are equipped on a single unit. This bonus may be more than the damage that an upgrade can do on its own.
The cost of upgrading a weapon's capabilities is contingent on the nature of the weapon as well as its current level. For instance, an upgrade to a +2 weapon will require two regular Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a weapon will increase until it needs a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.
Upgraded weapons can also alter their base stats. While this is usually an excellent thing, it can have some negative consequences too. In the case of items that only see use in a certain build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs, for instance) upgrading them can render them useless unless you happen to have an extremely lucky roll.

Items of armor can also be upgraded to improve their effectiveness. This will increase the defense of a helm or chest while belts and gloves can boost their strength and agility. Armor also offers a reroll option for its Enhanced Defense percent, which means that it may change its roll to a lower value.
The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats it will gain when upgraded, along with their respective values. This means that a weapon will gain 33% attack damage when it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. However, the 3% doesn't mean that it will be hit 3 times less often because it's an absolute statistic.
A weapon can also be rerolled using the green button with arrows that circle in the item menu. This will roll the item and alter its stats but it won't reset the weapon's levels or tie it to the account status.
Armor
A few armor upgrades can make all the difference in your ability to survive. Certain sets offer massive improvements in the resistance to poison, curses, fire, and magic. This can make it easier to navigate difficult terrains. In general, the more defense you have on your character, the greater health you will gain from each point. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade your armor.
You can upgrade your armor by visiting one of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four Great Fairy Fountains within the game and to unlock each one you have to complete an additional quest involving the Stable Trotters. Once you've done the main side quest and completed the fountain that corresponds you'll be able to contact any Great Fairy to open up the menu for upgrading your armor.
The amount of materials needed to upgrade each piece of armor will differ. In general, you'll need at anywhere between three Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees for the first upgrade, and then anywhere from five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Horns for each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, for example can be upgraded to a +5 defense rating, which will allow you to stay ahead in frigid conditions with a large number of adversaries. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other side, can be upgraded to +20 defense to ensure you're able to survive a battle with your friends.
It isn't possible to upgrade armor the same as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior it is best to focus on upgrading your armor to increase physical power or spell power. It's also worth saving your armor upgrades to use for armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the game, such as the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield, or the helmet you use for the final boss fight and the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.
By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town and you will be able to gain some benefits to your armor. It is generally recommended to save these upgrades to the weapon that you'll use to beat the game. For instance the Longsword or Battleaxe. It's nevertheless beneficial to have some upgrades for the helmets and chest armor so that you can sneak around some monsters.
Potions
Potions are liquids that when consumed by a participant, produce a temporary effect. There are five kinds of potions with different effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded, increasing their level of effect. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by adding glowstone dust and redstone.
Potion upgrades require a certain amount of XP. This can be earned through crafting them on a crafting table, or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. The price of upgrades varies based on the type of potion used and the item's rarity as well as Mark Level.
To upgrade a potion, click right on it in your inventory and choose the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open a GUI that allows you to select the potions that you would like to upgrade and the amount of experience they'll give you when upgraded. Upgrading potions can be done in batches of up to five at a single time, and the XP they earn will be added to your current XP total.
Once a potion has been upgraded, it won't degrade until you re-use it, or break the bottle it's stored in. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to change the name of the potion.
Version 1.7.2 brought a few changes to the way potions are used. For instance splash potions now have a duration of 0:08 (this is not the equivalent of 22.5 seconds shown on the hover display of the item). The potion table can now be constructed using four Wood Planks and two Glass. It can be utilized in both Survival and Bedrock. Contrary to Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions are not able to be used in cauldrons. Also, putting a potion on a full cauldron drains the contents and replenishes the bottle.
Lastly, there are now lingering potions that are brewed with dragon breath and splash potions. Redstone can be added to potions that are lingering to increase their effect. The potion table is now laid out more in line with the Java Edition, and new potions were added such as potion of leaping, decomposition potion, and turtle master potions.
Trinkets
A trinket can be described as a small and cheap ornament or piece of jewelry. It can also refer to an object or ornament that serves a purpose, but is not particularly significant, such as a trinket. In certain cultures, a trinket is used to signify friendship or affection, especially between family members.
In addition to armor, weapons and potions, players can upgrade their trinkets. Upgrades can be purchased by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Trinkets, unlike other items that can be upgraded, can be exchanged at any time without losing statistics.
The upgrade vendors are located in major cities and the capital of each zone, and in in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are offered with gold, tokens or fragments of trinkets that are rare.
Upgrades to trinkets are a cost-effective alternative to purchasing a new one. You can upgrade a trinket for as little 12 tokens. The new trinket will feature the same base ilvl as older one, and include an additional 1% upgrade bonus.
Trinkets can be upgraded when they are no longer needed which allows a player to increase their power and worth over time. They can be traded between players, making them an alternative to gold.
Players must upgrade their most valuable items first. This means that the most-important slot items for each class are first upgraded before their secondary gear, and then other equipment that they won't be replacing anytime soon (such as rings or cloaks). Players should also consider their class's preferred stats when choosing the items to upgrade. For instance when Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tankers, they should prioritize upgrading their chest, helm shoulders, belt, and helm.
When they are no longer useful, trinkets can be upgraded to a higher level. The new trinket comes with an additional 1percent bonus. A re-upgrade, however, will destroy the trinket unless it is salvaged using the Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. This means upgrading trinkets is more expensive than other upgrades, but is still less expensive than buying an entirely new trinket.
